This policy explains what personal data Callback ("we") collects when you use our website and tools, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We apply the same high level of protection to everyone, wherever you live, and add the specific rights your local law gives you (for example the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR, the CCPA in California, PIPEDA in Canada, the LGPD in Brazil, or the DR Congo Digital Code).

Who we are

Callback.my is a CV and Workforce service in the BPO business of Algorithme Solutions. It is operated by ALGORITHME S.A.R.L., with registered office at 6, avenue Mpolo Maurice, Commune de la Gombe, Kinshasa, République démocratique du Congo. What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number if you give it, country (and US state if relevant), language, and the privacy choices you make.
• Content you add: CV notes, the CVs we generate, your photo if you add one, interview answers and scores, Profile Studio text, and messages you send to support.
• Security and technical data: a session cookie and records needed to protect accounts, sign-in and payments. Our hosting and security providers may process connection data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service.
• Optional visit statistics: only after you allow them, we use a random visitor ID, pages opened, referring site or campaign, approximate country, device type and browser to understand and improve the service. We do not store your IP address or connect these statistics to your account. We delete statistics after up to 7 days. You can change your choice using Cookie settings.
• Payment information: when you upgrade, the payment provider you choose (for example mobile money or a card processor) handles your payment details. We only receive confirmation of the payment.

Your camera and microphone, if you turn them on during a mock interview, are processed in your browser. Video is never uploaded or recorded. Voice answers are converted to text by your browser's speech service and only the text is sent to us.

Why we use it

• To run your account and the tools you ask for (contract).
• To keep the service secure and prevent spam and fraud (legitimate interest).
• To show your CV to verified recruiters, only if you switch on the talent pool (consent).
• To send job tips and offers by email or WhatsApp, only if you opt in (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time from your privacy settings or from any message.

AI processing

CV writing, interview coaching, profile rewriting and the support assistant are powered by Anthropic's Claude models. The text you submit is sent to Anthropic to generate a reply. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models under its commercial terms. We do not use your data to make automated decisions with legal effects about you.

Who we share it with

Our hosting provider (Hostinger), our AI provider (Anthropic), our email provider, and your chosen payment provider, each only as needed to run the service. Verified recruiters only if you join the talent pool. We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Our servers and providers may be outside your country. When we transfer data, we use the safeguards your law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep account data until you delete your account, subject to records we must retain for legal, payment, dispute-resolution or security purposes. Optional visit statistics are retained for up to 7 days. Free users' unsaved CVs stay only on your device.

Your rights

You can access, download, correct or delete your data at any time from your name → Your privacy in the top bar, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may also object to processing, restrict it, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority. We reply within 30 days.

Children

Callback is for people aged 16 and over.

Cookies

We use an essential cookie (cb_sid) to keep you signed in and secure. Optional first-party visit statistics are off unless you allow them; if enabled, cb_stats remembers your choice and cb_vid is a random visitor ID. You can change your choice in Cookie settings. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers. Your browser's local storage keeps your language and drafts on your device.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.

We estimate your country from your IP address to show the right language and regional prices. This site includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com.
